Land & Seascape on the Cape
This two-week workshop retreat focuses on capturing the amazing natural beauty of Cape Cod, Massachusettes. Under the guidance of local artist/educator Anne Tochka and old favorite Iliya Mirochnik, students will have the opportunity to develop pleinair and drawing skills in an inspiring setting, and enjoy the luscious experience of summer on the cape.

Where we'll be
Our residence (called “Heronsdream” by the owner) is located in a wooded area, surrounded by the marshes of Blackfish Creek and Drummer Cove and about four miles from beautiful town of Wellfleet. There is access to bike and walking trails, and is about a mile from the beautiful National Seashore.

What you'll see
Beaches, dunes, historic houses, charming little towns, boats, lighthouses, gorgeous sunsets and a feast of light reflecting off water. Cape Cod is an area rich with American (and art!) history, and we will explore what makes it beautiful and unique.
