what’s our deal?

We share many interests: books, museums, nature, hats, British crime dramas.  But the two things we are most passionate about are art and travel.  With this project we are hoping to unite all of these things and share the experience with anyone who wants to come along.

 Our goal in forming Blue Hippo Artists  is to offer the space for each artist to learn and grow in their own direction, and create the way that they want to create.  There is structure, but it is flexible.  There are plans, but they are adaptable.  We will allow things to move along organically—no syllabus, no standards to meet, no formulaic learning.  All levels are welcome.  Work in the media you prefer.  Design a project or just explore and develop your skills.  We promise to respect your voice and vision and do our best to accommodate your quirks.
